Buick has rekindled a powerful name from its past to mark the beginning of a new level of refinement for the 2008 Buick LaCrosse line-up: Super. The Super badge debuted in 1939 on 1940 model year Buicks and last appeared in 1958. LaCrosse Super is distinguished by freshened styling including the legendary Buick portholes, and special interior treatment that includes new seats and trim. The LaCrosse Super’s robust 5.3-liter V-8 is rated at 300 horsepower.
