Shameful act by Indian shopkeeper

A sad video is circulating on the social media in which a rat can be seen in a miserable condition. The shopkeeper detained the rat and hanged it on a wooden frame. He hit the rat with stones and injured it badly. Unfortunately, the people were supporting him rather condemning his brutal act.


According to the reports, the rat was living in the shopkeeper and used to steal food from the cereal sacks. One day, the shopkeeper put rat trap near the shop and seized the rat. To punish it, he fastened it in the wooden frame and started beating it with a stick. Moreover, he asked other shopkeepers to watch the scene and kept recording the video.


Later, he uploaded the video on the social media where everyone criticized him for his brutal act. However, he used abusive language to those who condemned him. To justify his brutal act, he said that the purpose of the act was just fun and animals had power to bear the pain.

Some social media users demanded the police to arrest the man immediately. So, in future no one else repeat the barbaric act again. The shopkeeper deactivated his account after facing severe criticism, but the video went viral within a few hours.

Animals play an important role in human life. Like human beings, animals have right to live. Animals are also used for fun and recreation. Like in pets for household company. Horse races using horses for fun and racing.
