1- While student were working on their computer, the electricity went out.

If 'student':

While the student was working on her computer, the electricity went out.

If 'students'

While the students were working on their computers, the electricity went out.

Unless the group of students had only one computer amongst them, then:

While the students were working on their computer, the electricity went out.

hmm thanx!

will u plz explain it?

What part do you want to know about?

The original was:
While student were working on their computer, the electricity went out.

You can't say 'while student' you have to say 'a student' 'the student' 'that student', it's the same for any occupation or position, 'the doctor' 'an entertainer' 'the boss' 'that girl.
You can say 'While hoorain was working' because it's a name.

The other thing is 'student' and 'their' don't match because student is singular, one student, the student.
For one person you use a singular possessive, his computer, her computer, my computer.
For a group you use their computer. He used his computer, they used their computer.
The student was working on her computer.
The students were working on their computers.
If you are part of the group you'll say 'our', we worked on our computers.

You use was for one person, were for a group in this case.
The student was working, the students were working.

An exception would be 'you were working'.

Did that explain what you want to know?
