The skin differs on different areas of the body. For instance, the skin on the elbows and knees is much thicker. * You can massage sesame seed (til) oil on the elbows and knees. * Take two lemon halves and rub them on the elbows and arms. * Apply a thick paste of besan and curd, to which a pinch of turmeric (haldi) has been added. Apply it daily 20 minutes before bath. * Mix oatmeal(jao ka atta) in warm water to make a paste then add lemon juice mix all n make a thick paste of it then apply on ur arms regularly....'...it will make ur arm's skin fairer. * Rub the inner part of the skin of a papaya on your face. Let it dry. Then, wash your face with cold water and wipe dry. This will give your skin a nice glow. 7/18/06 Don?t forget the importance of protecting your skin with sun screen. Use a sunscreen to prevent further darkening. Many face and hand creams have built in sun screen, which will protect you all day long, even through the winter months. Sun screen does?t have to be sticky and heavy, in fact most skin creams have light and moisturizing sun screens already built in. Apply Melalite Forte cream (available at the chemist's) at bedtime on your arms n elbows. Use an exfoliating scrub twice a week.
