The all-new 2008 Avenger is the Dodge brand’s first mid-size car to offer all-wheel-drive capability combined with a sport-tuned suspension, performance steering and electronic stability program (ESP) with traction control. Four models will be offered in the United States: Avenger SE, Avenger SXT and Avenger R/T, and R/T AWD. Powertrain options include the new standard 2.4-liter 4-cylinder World Engine, an available flex-fuel 2.7-liter V-6 engine and an available 3.5-liter V-6 engine coupled with a new 6-speed automatic transaxle with auto stick.
