mujhe tou pasand hain fried shrimps with rice : ) ...
vegeterian log ko non-veg ajeeb lagta hain because un logo ne kabhi taste he nai kiye so unke samne koi bhi ager non-veg rakhe so obviously unhe pahli baar tu weird he lagega na.
fish to generally common foods mei athe hain but shrimps shayed serf west mei he log zyada prefer kerte ho, I dont think so yeh pak ya kahe sub continent mei bhi melta hoga.

shrimps kha sakte hain in sha Allah.laikin aam taur jind o pak me isse pasand nahi kia jaata.aur baaz fuqha k nazdeek ye makrooh hai.laikin islam me makrooh naam ki shayed hi koi cheez hai.Allah k nabi(pbuh) ne bus hame do cheezein batlaayi hain 1 hai haram aur dosre hai halal.
aisi aur bhi cheezein hain jinhe fuqha makrooh qarar dete hain jinme se ek goh bhi hai.jise Allah k nabi(pbuh) ne to nahi khaaya tha laikin dosre sahaba ko khaane se mana bhi nahi kia tha.aisi cheezon ko aaj k ulama makrooh ka naam dete hain.

There is a Hadith narrated by Abu Hurayra about a man who came to the Messenger of Allah, and said: “Messenger of Allah! We travel by sea and we do not carry fresh water with us so if we perform wudhu’ with it we go thirsty. Can we perform wudhu’ with sea water?” The Messenger of Allah replied, “its water is pure, and its dead creatures are halal.”
ye 4 different sections k diff opinions hain:
Hanafi,Shafei, Hanbali and Maliki and the opinions of these 4 scholars differed but then taking one hadith into consideration the decision has been taken,
The Hanafi are of the opinion that eating crabs is unlawful. They (the Hanafi) claim that from all the creatures of the sea, only fish is lawful. Al Kassany (a Hanafi scholar) said: 'All creatures of the sea are unlawful to eat except the fish if it is not floating (after death) on the water'.
The Maliki believe that eating crabs is lawful. Al Kharshy (a Maliki scholar) said: 'And any sea animal (is lawful) even if it stays for a long time on land. This means for them that the Meytah of sea animals (dead without being slaughtered) is lawful for us to eat regardless of whether that animal was killed or was found dead. There is no difference in this rule between an animal whose life on land is long like the sea turtle, the sea frog, or the crab, or the one whose life on land is short like the whale'.
The Shafi’e have two different opinions but their most preponderant opinion is that it is unlawful to eat crabs. Al Nawawi said: 'The frog and the crab are forbidden and this is the opinion of the majority of scholars'.
The Hanbali are of the opinion that the crab is lawful.
Ibn Qudamah said: 'Imam Ahmad said, ‘There is no objection to eating crabs’. Someone asked: ‘Should it be slaughtered?’ Imam Ahmad replied: ‘No’'.
But the majority of scholars are of a different opinion for the general meaning of the following Hadith: "Its (the seas Meytah/dead animal) is lawful". [Ahmad].

جھینگا حرام تو نہیں ہے،
یہاں دبئی میں بنگالی بہت ذیادہ کھاتے ہیں لیکن جہاں تک میری بات ہے میں نے تو آج تک نہیں کھایا اور نہ ہی کسی پاکستانی کو کھاتے دیکھا ہے.
اس کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ اس کو دیکھ کر کراہت آتی ہے اور کھانے کو دل ہی نہیں کرتا.
جن لوگوں نے بنگالیوں اور ملواریوں کو کھانا کھاتے دیکھا ہے ذرا ان سے پوچھ لیں کہ یہاں بنگالی اور ملواریوں کو کھانا کھاتا دیکھ کر چکن کھانے کو دل نہیں کرتا جھینگا تو بہت دور کی بات ہے.
