So it has been. So it must be with this generation of Americans. That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age.

Homes have been lost, jobs shed, businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly, our schools fail too many, and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet.
(Barrack Obama, 20 January 2009, inaugural address..)

20 January 2009 was the date when Barrack hussain Obama took oath as 44th President of United States of America. We saw a determined and outspoken Barrack Obama during the speech as he told all the difficulties USA is facing or will face in the future. At this critical juncture of history whole world is expecting from him.

Americans gave him vote for the change, change can be in economy which is going through worst turmoil nowdays, change can be in foreign policy which has created more enemies than friends in last 7 years, change can be in past hypocritical attitude of USA towards the solution of long standing issues of world especially concerning Muslims (Kashmir and Palestine),In short we can say everyone in todays globalised world expecting something from him.

What Americans expect?
Americans voted for change but the question is for what type of change Americans choosed Obama over other candidates.According to analysts Americans want change in following areas.

(i) They want a well-balanced economic policy which can solve their economic woes especially after Housing bubble.
(ii) They want a foreign policy which can make the world safer and they want change in the Us policy relating to middle east.
(iii) They want immediate withdrawal of forces from Iraq as Iraq war is becoming unpopular day by day.

What Muslims expect?
In previous speeches Obama hinted many times that he wants to solve the burning issues concerning Muslims such as Palestine and Kashmir,so Muslims are really hopefull about Post Obama America,Muslims want

(i) Resolution of Political disputes relating Muslims such as Kashmir and Palestine
(ii) Timetable of withdrawal of forces from Iraq and Afghanistan or atleast from iraq in near future.
(iii) Responsible role of global power something like China not the present role of policeman played by US

Time will tell that how successful Obama can be, fulfilling his promises but we can expect good from him because it seems that he is a honest man with strong determination and will.
