So you changed some setting on your phone and now you don't know how to fix it? Have no fear, there is a simple process that can restore your phone to the default settings:

1. Click OK/Menu
2. Click right twice to get to the Settings and Tools Menu
3. Click down until you get to the System (this is 5 on a 5200)
4. Click down until you get to the Security (this is also 5 on a 5200)
5. Enter your lock code. If you have not customized it, this is the last for digits of your phone number.
6. Click Reset Default
7. You'll see a message that says "Reset Default: Preference settings will be set to factory defaults. Press OK to continue." You know what to do here...

I've not done this on my phone. I like my settings. But I'm told that this will NOT remove the custom rings you have uploaded on your phone AND there is a seperate menu item for deleting contacts. So, I don't think it will remove your contact information either BUT I cannot guarantee this. Choosing this option MIGHT remove all of those settings.

1. Activate the Android Power Strip
The single most important feature in Android 2.1 is its built-in power strip widget. Here, you're able to quickly disconnect all the phone's battery-destroying features, like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the Great Batter Killer that is GPS. Long-press on the screen and install it via the widgets category.
2. Android call screening

A teeny little feature, this, but one that's super-useful if you're using all five of your Home screens - or a custom user interface that offers even more. Tapping the dots beside the dock at the bottom of the screen brings up a mini thumbnail list of all Home screens, allowing you to get from Screen 1 to Screen 5 without wearing a groove into your screen surface.
12. Add a Navigation shortcut to Android
Android 2.1 lets users set up local short-cuts to the Maps Navigation satnav app. As long as you have one of the latest Google Maps updates, you're able to select one of your Navigation routes and attach it directly to a shortcut on the Home screen - creating a one-press launcher for your favourite trips.

On phones that don't support multi-touch zooming, you can take more control of your web browsing zoom via the browser's setting page. Change your view to "Close" if you want the page to fly right into extreme close up when you double-tap the screen, or leave it to "Far" if you're happy to have text only cropping in a little closer when you double-tap.

Think about this: If you do these tricks the new menus can not be erased after the procedure. But it's not dangerous or harmful for your phone To enable the headset-function, you have to short-circuit the "3" and "4". After a short time there is "Headset" on the display Now, menu 3-6 is now enabled! To enable the carkit-function you have to short-circuit the "4" and "5". iPod Features

In addition to the itunes integration and autosync, the Click Wheel (more on this in the HARDWARE section) and the slim form factor, some of iPod's more notable features include:

• Audio The 160-GB iPod stores up to 40,000 songs (20,000 for the 80-GB model). The search function lets you type in keywords (song name, artist, album) using the Click Wheel to locate a song on the iPod hard drive. It supports Mp3, WAV, AAC, AIFF, Apple Lossless and Audible audio files. You can download songs from the iTunes Store, from a different MP3 download site or rip them from your CDs into the iTunes software. You need to go through the iTunes software to download files to the iPod (unless you download a hack that lets you bypass iTunes -- more on hacks in the Software section). You can listen to audio books at various speeds -- normal, faster or slower -- without seriously distorting the sound, and connect your iPod to your home stereo through a mini-to-RCA jack. The device comes with equalizer presets for different music styles.

• Video The 80-GB version holds up to 100 hours of video, and the 160-GB version holds up to 200 hours. It supports H.264 and MPEG-4 files as well as MOV files converted to iPod-friendly video through the iTunes software. You can play videopodcasts, music videos, feature films andTV shows on the iPod, plus your own DVDs and home videos that you encode using QuickTime Pro and download to your player through iTunes.
• Photos The player holds up to 25,000 photos. It supports files converted from JPEG, BMP, GIF, TIFF, PNG and PSD.
